“It helped me stay conscious of my steps, process my thoughts and ideas, and exercise my mind and body simultaneously.”

“I loved every bit of it and low-key didn’t want it to end. Reading about everyone else’s walks and seeing their realities was super nice.”

“The walks instilled the belief that no matter what, good things will come. One just has to have the strength to go and grab them.”

Our inspiration for the Mobility Challenge came from an interesting Stanford study that showed a clear link between walking and increased creativity. The study found that people who walked had a remarkable 60% increase in creative output compared to those who sat. Excited by the potential to unlock our creativity and experience better mood, focus, and overall well-being, we decided to test this idea ourselves. “Walking with these gigantic trees surrounding you reminds one of the peace in a life away from the city. The importance of a connection with nature and an urge to move towards greener cities. Birds chirping, wildlife nearby, do we even see them in cities anymore?”

“In mere five minutes, I witnessed the sky transforming from muted shades of yellow to a mesmerizing palette of purple & pink. It makes me wonder how many sunsets I’ve overlooked. A reminder to take a moment, reflect on life, and appreciate the beauty around us.”

“Some trees were noticeably lit up, and the crimson glow made them appear almost mystical. I attempted to channel my creative energies during the walk by pondering on an idea for a short story that I’ve had for some weeks now. I was able to sketch out a few details, but the rest will flow once I start writing. I certainly feel a lot calmer and relaxed after the walk.”
