Meet the Founders
The HamSukhan founders and friends, Safa and Faaiz, complement each other creatively - Faaiz providing structure while Safa fuels ingenuity - yet come together through their shared passion for learning and creating community.

Faaiz Gilani
Hi! Faaiz here! I’m the co-founder of HamSukhan and as an urban economist, I am passionate about collective action and community empowerment. For me, HamSukhan not only sparks curiosity through shared knowledge, it is an attempt to see people empowered, resilient, creative and aware of pressing matters while bringing a positive change.
But personally, my shy personality often leads to me being found inside libraries, behind camera lens, journaling and watching random documentaries. That doesn’t mean I do not have an adventurous spirit as I love traveling, being a foodie, cooking new dishes and experimenting with every random moment of inspiration I come across. And HamSukhan is another dream I want to see do wonders!
The possibilities with HamSukhan are only bound by our imaginations. As someone who believes in failures being guiding signs towards success, the platform would be a gateway to all of our fascinating ideas, some materializing to create ever-lasting impact.
Safa Baig
Well, hello there. I’m Safa, co-founder HamSukhan, and your neighborhood friendly ADHD lost person, recent gymbro, wannabe runner, book reading underdog, passionate foodie, full-time daydreamer, and woman of many other unaccomplished talents.
So many of us start out with great dreams and ambitions, until we are suffocated by the overbearing burdens of family pressure, social standards, corporate demands - and slowly lose touch with our hobbies, our interests, and our child-like wonder. This is especially true in Pakistan, where the political turmoil and economic instability undercuts how we try to build our lives. We want HamSukhan to be the space where we try to hang on to what brings us true joy and purpose in our daily lives, pride in who we are, and hope for what’s ahead. That can take many forms and it’ll be a journey rather than a destination. I hope you join us for the ride.
